Faith outside religion
Sometimes I detest how insecure I allow myself to be.
There isn't a single day that goes by without some kind of challenge presented to me:
Am I doing this for the right reason, and if I am, what are they?
Is all the work ever going to amount to something beyond the glitz and glamour?
Will it change lives?
Unfortunately when presented with these questions, I cannot be sure.
It's not tiring to be inspired and to have to execute a brilliant idea, but when everyone else just thinks you're a joke, it's becomes such a chore. The people in position to make changes, they don't give you a chance to make your own changes because of the constitution. Because the constitution says this, I cannot lend you a hand.
Bullshit.
I hate all these constitutional people. Have they forgotten why certain rules were written in the first place? Never mind they think our ideas are weak, not well thought of; but to shoot us down without giving us a chance to prove ourselves?
It's called being discriminated.
You won't bring me down. Countless inspiring people kept knocking on doors, thousands if they had to, and never gave up; just for a chance to do something they feel strongly about. They are my truth, they are my rock.
I have to keep faith. Even though it's watered down to everyone else, my work; It must not become watered down to me.
Because when I stop believing in what I strive for, what I live for, the kind of changes I want to make in this life;
that's when I lose everything
